Ready for SIGEP

Numerous activities await you: competitions, up-and-coming chefs, new cocoa powders, chocolate in an innovative format, innovatively designed products, the return of the great classics and many surprise guests! We are back. Now we are just waiting for you!

Barry Callebaut's international team has prepared a truly amazing programme for all chocolate lovers at Sigep 2024. You will find us at hall B3 stand 018, 063, 064, 101.

The watchword for this edition is PLAY and during the days of the fair you will have a lot of fun.
We will start immediately on 20 January with the opening ceremony of the Italian Selection for the World Chocolate Masters 2025, the main world competition dedicated to the creativity of artisans and chefs with chocolate, and the first challenge session between the finalists: Mohammed Elkourik, Tommaso Grollero, Francesco Maggio, Eris Mone. 

On the 21st we will have the pleasure of hosting Anna Gerasi, already a finalist at the World Chocolate Masters in Paris 2022, who will make some demos, and on the same day body painter Guido Daniele will be the protagonist of the space with an evocative performance dedicated to the wild nature of the cacao plantations of the cacao belt.

Mondays at the fair will be overwhelmed by the energy of the Callebaut® Born Original project with a series of experiences dedicated to real Belgian chocolate proposed by Italian chefs who focus on innovation such as: Dalila Salonia, Luca Rubicondo, Maicol Vitellozzi and Jacopo Zorzi.
Tuesday, on the other hand, will be dedicated to Taco Day with the new proposal signed Monalisa "Taco on-the-go", the new form of consumption applicable in both sweet and savoury, which visitors will be able to taste as a preview.

But the climax will be reached with the extraordinary participation of Renato Ardovino, the master of cake design, who with his incredible mastery in the Monalisa space will create real masterpieces of confectionery art dedicated to Easter.

The Sigep is also an opportunity to discover all our novelties perfect for even the most demanding professionals who will be able to choose from a vast selection of innovative and high-performance products. We highlight the tasty Callebaut® spreadable chocolate and the Cacao Barry line of cocoa powders.
