Tristan Rousselot, Corporate Chef for Prova Gourmet, will be giving a holiday themed demonstration with a focus on the queen of spices: vanilla. The demonstration will start with a vanilla training, where you will learn the secrets of vanilla, from its production and varietals to the impacts bean origins have on flavor. From there, Chef Tristan will demonstrate three holiday-inspired recipes featuring different origins of vanilla:
- Exotic Christmas Log, featuring Tahitian Vanilla Beans
- Vanilla and Macadamia Tart, featuring newest product “Caviani” a concentrated vanilla caviar
- Milk Chocolate Bar with Rum Caramel, featuring Fusion Rum and Vanilla Cocoa Butters
